Hermitage Mall is on the Lalla Rookhweg, out from the centre, and its own site puts around eighty stores under one roof. It opens Monday to Saturday 09:00 to 21:00 and Sunday and public holidays 16:00 to 21:00.

For a visitor those Sunday hours are the useful part. Most of Paramaribo closes on Sunday, including the Centrale Markt and a good share of the restaurants, so a mall that opens at four in the afternoon is one of the few reliable options for anything you have forgotten.

Claims about a cinema and free wi-fi circulate in secondary sources and are not confirmed by the mall itself, and sources disagree about which neighbourhood it sits in — we make no claim about that either.
