Hotel Krasnapolsky is on Domineestraat, in the middle of the busiest shopping street in Paramaribo, and it is one of the city's long-established hotels: 84 rooms, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, a restaurant with a pool terrace, a lounge café, a 24-hour front desk with currency exchange and a free airport shuttle.

This entry exists to record a caveat as much as a hotel. The hotel's own domain, krasnapolsky.sr, refuses connections, and it did so consistently enough that we held this record back from an earlier batch on exactly that basis. It is nevertheless taking bookings: several hotel platforms carry live availability and current guest reviews. A dead website is a website problem, not a closure — and the inverse error, treating a broken domain as evidence of closure, is one we would rather correct in public than repeat.
