Hotel Palacio is a 22-room hotel on Heerenstraat, inside the historic inner city that UNESCO inscribed in 2002 — which is the main reason to choose it. Fort Zeelandia, Onafhankelijkheidsplein, the Waterkant and the Centrale Markt are all walkable from the door, and the hotel's own site puts the international airport at about 45 minutes by car.
As of 21 August 2026 the hotel advertised rates from about USD 60 when available. Suriname prices move, so treat that as a starting point rather than a quote.
A note for anyone working from older Suriname listings: Palacio is on Heerenstraat, not Grote Combeweg. Every source we checked agrees on this, and the Grote Combeweg version appears to be a long-running transcription error.
