Mirosso is a Javanese-Surinamese restaurant in Blauwgrond, the district in northern Paramaribo that began as a Javanese village and is still where the city's Javanese cooking is concentrated. Most of what you eat in Blauwgrond comes from small warungs built in front of family houses; Mirosso is one of the few sit-down restaurants among them, with a terrace and an air-conditioned room.
