Royal Torarica is the upper tier of the Torarica Group, which lists three Paramaribo hotels on its own site: Royal Torarica, Torarica Resort and Eco Torarica. Royal Torarica sits on Kleine Waterstraat, the short hotel-and-restaurant street that runs off the Waterkant riverfront, so the historic inner city, the Palmentuin and Fort Zeelandia are all within an easy walk.
One detail worth knowing before you book: the group's site prints a single shared address, Mr. L.J. Rietbergplein 1, for all three of its hotels, while the Royal Torarica page gives Kleine Waterstraat 10. The two properties share a riverside block, so the difference is a labelling quirk rather than a different location. But if you are giving an address to a taxi driver, use the hotel's own.
