Waterproof Tours is a Paramaribo destination management company rather than a walk-in tour shop. It sells to international operators and media as well as to individual travellers, which is worth knowing before you go looking for a shopfront. Its reservations line is +597 8962927.
Its own site was live and maintained when we checked it on 21 August 2026, carrying a current sustainability policy document. The products it is known for are river trips, sea turtle tours and cultural excursions to Moengo in the east of the country.
One caution. The company's page for its Sunset & Dolphins trip returned a 404 when we checked, so we cannot confirm that specific product is currently on sale here. Several Paramaribo operators sell a near-identical river dolphin trip, so a dolphin evening is a category rather than one company's exclusive. Ask when you book.
